Grooming Rules:

1. Being a pet parent is about recognizing & normalizing hygiene needs.

2. Brush-outs are to prevent matting not to de-mat.

3. If you want to de-mat a full groom is necessary.

4. Brushing when there is matting is painful for your dog.

5. If you get a groom or brush-out for your pup when there is matting, it will hurt, and your dog will resist the groom/brush-out.

6. If you continue to get brush-outs/grooms when there is matting, the resistance will lead to anger or aggression during the brush-out/groom.

7. Choosing a healthier routine to avoid matting will prevent pup's resistance turning into anger

8. The appropriate brushing routine is based on how curly, course and thick the hair is not by bread.

9. Brushing is a lot of work, takes time & patience, and is a learned skill.
