Hello, parents!

Congratulations on your new family member.  You are already on the right track with bringing your pup to our door. There is a lot we get to accomplish together while your pup is in their adolescents. The first 9 months of their life is a small window where we (parents, educators, groomers, friends) all get to socialize them to all the wonders of the world (sounds, smells, textures). Here at Sterling K9 Grooming, we have created the calendar below for your convenience to ensure a path for your pup to recognize the process as fun and rewards for them. We all want the best result without any trauma or fears.











Please keep in mind once we are out of this window of adolescence, we are less likely to come back from lack of understanding and fears. Once there is trauma from lack of proper socialization, there is not much we can do but work on coping skills. Here at Sterling, we know this will hold your pup back from the wonders of enrichment grooming. Please think about staying with the same groomer and outline above best you can so we can navigate through this delicate time in your pup’s life.
